Our School was entrenched with 300 students, 35 years back, when there were no English medium schools in our locality. Sri Sankara Mat. Hr. Sec. School is initiated by our founder Mr. Sri C.P. Ganesan, who was doing educational services in rural areas, especially contributed many school buildings to Govt schools which were located at the villages of Kaduvangudi, Peralam and so on.
Our school venue has a Goddess of Saraswathi statue which consists of 25 feet height is mesmerizing the spectators. Before 30 years the parents of these peripheral areas were sending their wards to township places like Karaikal, Mayiladuthurai, and Thiruvarur for getting the best schooling. But, our school has windup this scenario. Now the parent of the above mentioned township send their ward’s to our school for the betterment of their ward’s education. It exhibits we provide the world class education with discipline to the students.We are running CBSE and Matriculation school, which have followed their fixed curriculums respectively, such as SCERT and NCERT along with Co – Scholastic activities like Yoga, Martial arts, Non – martial arts and Instrumental learning.

NEET / IIT – JEE Pre and Post foundation course have started for classes VI to VIII std and NEET /IIT – JEE special coaching classes for IX to XII std in our school.
We have classes from LKG to XII. In class XII, we provide three streams. Every year the academic performances of our students are highly appreciable and they brought many laurels to our institutions. They have bagged many district levels and also few state level achievements. Apart from academics, our students brought many state level championships and district level championships in sports field also. We are going to organize Sri Sankara Sports Academy in our school campus which will be a platform for our budding students to excel in sports activities. In Addition to this , we are providing safe and secure transportation even in rural areas.
To develop the knowledge of the students and teachers, the legendary speakers like Mr.Sugi Shivam, Mr.Lena Tamilvanan, Prof. KU. Gnanasambandam, Mr.Iraianbu IAS, and Mr.KaliyaMoorthy IPS have visited our school and delivered thought provoking orations. Our school was awarded with first place for providing best education in Thiruvarur. A quality educational system is being implemented at our school. The extraordinary infrastructure provides the comfortable schooling in our campus.
